Symptoms of Snow Blindness


If you have Snow blindness you may not realise this for a few hours after exposure.  The cornea and conjunctiva become burnt and eyes may appear bloodshot and there may be a gradual increase in tears.  Pain will worsen over time and it may feel like there is grit in your eyes.  Eyes may swell to such an extent that they shut.  In very rare instances people have been known to become blind.
