Laser Thermokeratoplasty (LTK) Side Effects
After LTK surgery, follow-up appointments are usually scheduled for the next day as well as for one week, one month, and 3-6 months after the procedure. A foreign object in your eye may be felt for the first 24 hours following LTK. Eye drops can help relieve this. Light sensitivity may also be experienced for the first 24 hours and sunglasses may be advisable.
