Eye MovementPatients are usually asked to look at a light during laser eye surgery.  It is important that the laser beam maintains a constant relationship with the eye and people often worry what would happen if they move their eyes during the critical stages of the procedure.  Eye-tracking technology monitors the position of the eye so that adjustments can be made to the laser beam, so that it maintains a constant relationship with the eye.  Thus, the eye surgeon has full control of the laser and continuously monitors its position ensuring that any eye movement will not cause any damage or other negative effects.
