Vision correction specialists Ultralease have announced a new treatment to be made available in the U.K and Ireland.

Ultraelite is claimed to be more advanced then any other correctional surgery currently on the market and has according to Ultralease the potential to deliver the best quality vision of any laser eye surgery that is currently available. This new procedure expands upon earlier treatments that have used wavefront technology, and while Ultrilite works from existing wavefront procedures it supposedly improves on the currently existing treatments.

Wavefront is used to provide a tailor made treatment for an individual’s eye, by focusing on the precise optics of each eye and measuring the entire cornea. The laser treatment is then applied to every part of the corneal surface in order to give it the correct and exact amount that each eye needs. One of biggest benefits of wavefront surgery is that less amount of tissue is removed because only the precise amount dosage is used so the eye’s structural strength is maintained. 

The Ultralite treatment has gone through rigorous trials and a wide-ranging development process in Singapore utilising the talents of top laser surgeons. The results of this test program have shown impressive results with 99.3% of all people in the trail showing an improvement in their vision.
