Millions Donated to Glaucoma Research


The Glaucoma Research Foundation has revealed that it has received a generous donation of millions that will help support the Catalyst For a Cure programme of research that aims to find a successful treatment for the progressively blinding eye disease.

The Catalyst For a Cure programme brings experts together from multiple disciplines who are able to work together and share research in a bid to find a cure, quicker.

Scientists hope that the generous donation will bring them closer to develop a cure for the eye disease which is thought to be the second leading cause of blindness.
