Glasses to Suit your Face Shape
When choosing a frame for your glasses, it is important to select a frame shape, which compliments you and doesn’t duplicate your face shape.
- Oval Face Shape - Most frames tend to suit an oval face. Angular or rounded frames may look particularly good.
- Round Face Shape - A slimming style is ideal for a round face. A slightly elongated shape may work well or even square, up-swept styles. Small round shapes will only emphasis a round face shape and should be avoided.
- Heart Face Shape - Slightly rounded or square styles may work well instead of heart-shaped styles.
- Square - A round or oval style can soften a square shaped face. It is advisable to avoid highly angled frames, as these will accentuate the square shape.
- Long - A wide frame will help make a long face look less narrow and even it out. A frame with a strong top line or round shape may also work well.
