Symptoms of Floaters & Flashes

Eye floaters take different forms, some look like small dots, dark, transparent or knobby specs, veils, and transparent strings or cobweb like materials that float within your field of vision. These specks and strings move when you move your eyes and when you try to look at them, they appear to dash away. In most cases, the floaters are often painless and in due course settle down to the bottom of the vitreous cavity out of the line of vision.  Flashes can occur as arc-like lightning.
