Located near the centre of Birmingham, Aston University Day Hospital is operated by 3 consultant ophthalmologists who have lots of experience in a wide variety of procedures. The centre caters not only to provide refractive eye surgery, but also to teach other doctors how to do the procedures.

The Aston University Day Hospital offers not only LASIK and LASEK using Bausch and Lomb’s new Zyoptix eximer laser, but also offers wavefront guided technology as well. Alongside these common procedures, the clinic also offers PRK, all laser LASIK and Epi-LASIK. The ophthalmologists are also able to correct a wide number of visual defects, such as astigmatism, presbyopia and cataracts. New premium IOL’s are available in all procedures that require lens implants. Other procedures, such as phakic lens implants and Prelex can also be performed.
