Diabetic Retinopathy
Damage to the blood vessels in the eyes retina, sometimes due to diabetes.
Glaucoma
Fluid and pressure build up in the eye causing damage the optic nerve.
Macular Degeneration (AMD)
Breakdown of the eyes “macula,” causing vision loss.
Thyroid Eye Disease
Inflammation of the fat and muscles surrounding the eye
Retinitis Pigmentosa
Hereditary eye disorder involving the eye's retina and causing vision loss.

A rare condition where there is a lack of colour vision.
Blepharitis
Inflammation of the edges of the eyelids.
Cataract
A clouding of the eyes lens which causes it to not properly transmit light.
Colour Blindness
Inability to distinguish certain colours due to, problems with certain eye cells.
Conjunctivitis
Inflammation of the “conjunctiva,” often causing red or bloodshot eyes.
Dry Eye
Insufficient lubrication in the eye, which can make eyes feel dry & uncomfortable.
Floaters & Flashes
Dark objects floating across vision, or lightening type flashes of light.
Keratoconus
A change in shape of the cornea.
Lazy Eye (Amblyopia)
A loss of vision caused by developmental problems with the eye.
Photokeratitis
This is essentially sunburn of the eye, caused by UV rays.
Pterygium
Tissue growth on the area of the eye known as the “conjunctiva.”
Snow Blindness (Corneal Burn)
Temporary loss of vision & inflammation caused by sunlight.
Strabismus / Cross Eyes
Eyes are not properly aligned, with one eye often turned in or out.
Ectropian
Eyelid turning out.
Entropian
Eyelid turning in.
Chalazion
Bump on the eyelid caused by inflamed meibomian glands.
Aniridia
Incomplete formation of the iris.
Blepharospasm
Involuntary blinking or closure of eyelids.
