Contact Lens Injuries Common in Children
A new report has shown that contact lens related injuries are becoming increasingly common in children, with over 70,000 American children having to seek emergency medical treatment every year following contact lens related injuries. The report, commissioned by health-care watchdog the FDA shows that children are likely to suffer abrasions or conjunctivitis after using contact lenses improperly.
