Conductive Keratoplasty (CK) Guide
CK - Conductive Keratoplasty
Refractive Correction
- Hyperopia - long sightedness or farsightedness.
- Presbyopia
Near vision Conductive Keratoplasty (also known as Ultra-CK) can be used to treat presbyopia and farsightedness. Blended vision is a procedure, which performs CK usually just on one eye to provide clearer close-up vision and the other eye is left untreated. Coordinated vision is thus used to see well at all distances when distance vision is good but near vision needs improvement. Thus, blended vision is used to see in a range of distances. Most people’s eyes continue to change with age, and further treatment with CK is an option at a later date when vision begins to deteriorate once again.
