How to Help a Blind Person


Blind people are generally capable of getting around on their own when they’re in environments they recognise or are with their dog and cane. When navigating a new location, however, they may require guidance or narration from someone else to get their bearings on the unknown landscape. Most people with vision loss will know how to tell you what they need or can inform you how to help them, so asking the individual is always the best first step.
