Normally, our eyes will be aligned and will move together. But sometimes, one eye is not aligned, which is called a 'Squint'. This can happen in either eye and in any direction. Our eyes are controlled by six main muscles. If one of these muscles is too short, or too long this may mean that the eye will be mis-aligned which can lead to blurred vision.

Treating Squint Eyes

If you think that you may squint, contact your local optician. There are a number of things that can be done to help correct a squint. Exercises involving moving objects from close-up to further away help to strengthen the eye muscles. Wearing glasses can also help the eye muscles strengthen and can reduce eye strain and headaches.
