Phorias Treatment
Normally, our eyes will be aligned and will move together. However, in people with Phorias, when the muscles are relaxed, the eye can drift. This can occur in either eye and in any direction. Because the muscles are working hard to keep the eye straight, this can cause headaches. In some cases it can also cause blurred vision, particularly when you're tired and may make reading difficult.
Phorias can give you eye strain and headaches. Exercising the eye muscles can help strengthen them. One method is to look at an object as its distance is changed. This strengthens the muscles and so reduces eye strain and headaches. Glasses can also help reduce eye strain.
