Lid Therapy


This is a treatment, which you can carry out yourself to help improve the meibomian gland secretions and help treat blepharitis.

The basic method is to clean the eyelids with water, saline solution or a commercial product. A warm compress should then be used to warm the eyelids and then finally the lids should be messaged to express the glands and improve flow into the tear film.
