Eyelid Surgery


A functional and cosmetic procedure designed to reshape the eyelid by removing or repositioning excess tissue and by reinforcement of muscles and tendons. The surgery may be performed when there is excess skin hanging over the eyelashes so that it interferes with vision. This may cause problems in carrying out routine activities such as driving and reading. Eyelid surgery may be performed for cosmetic reasons, to improve facial features and give a less wrinkled and younger appearance.
