Epi-LASIK Laser Eye Surgery

A type of laser eye surgery, which uses an epikeratome to perform a separation of the epithelium of the eye.  As with all laser eye surgery procedures, a laser then modifies the cornea so that vision is improved.  Unlike PRK laser eye surgery, the procedure avoids the use of alcohol, which kills epithelium cells.
