Edema


Spelled 'Oedema' in the UK. This is eye swelling. Corneal edema can be caused by eye surgery, corneal dystrophies, increased eye pressure and due to contact lens complications. Symptoms are a loss of vision, halos, a spot in the eye, a white cloud in the eye, photophobia, pain and foreign body sensation.
