Cyclopentolate


An anti-muscarinics medicine, which blocks the receptors in the muscles of the eye which control the pupil size and the shape of the lens. The pupil then becomes dilated and the eye doesn’t accommodate for near vision (cycloplegia). This enables a thorough eye examination and is also used if you suffer from uveitus.
