Artisan Lens

A custom made lens which is placed in the anterior chamber of the eye and clips onto the iris.  It remains in the middle of the eye from where it can’t move.  It is used to correct astigmatism and high degrees of myopia (short sightedness). 

Once an artisan lens is placed in the eye, treatment is reversible and therefore eyes can be returned to their original state if required.  The main advantage of an artisan lens is that it enables excellent visual acuity.  The placement of an Artisan lens is generally regarded as both safe and effective.
